Home With The Honey Dippers

Pure Northern California fun in the form of danceable music, The Honey Dippers are a blues, soul, New Orleans style funk band that dips their toes in country and jazz from time to time. Featuring a mix of out-of-the ordinary covers and timeless originals, the players set a refreshing tone when they get on stage and do what they do best. With members ranging in age and musical influences, there is no limit to what kind of music they might play but the sound is always distinctly Honey Dippers: kind of loose, kind of dirty, sort of sexy and definitely groovy.

Fronted by Cory Herve and Shawna Miller, the two lead vocalists have an undeniable chemistry that engages and captivates audiences of all musical tastes. Then throw in vocals from the legendary Frankie Lee on keys, the bar just got raised. Bassist Gary Creller has been performing for over 40 years all over the country with nearly 30 bands including the original Norton Buffalo ‘Stampede’. Get him and drummer Michael Boots of Marshall House Project together and this band keeps the booties moving on the dance floor! The sextet is completed with guitarist Gonzalo Ochoa, keeping it fresh with sexy style and nasty licks.

With three dynamic song writers and creative input from all six members, The Honey Dippers bring a sound that is at once familiar and never before been heard. Representing Sonoma County and traditional American music, this band is a must see! Check their upcoming performances at:
